Professional Works

I've stepped into the professional world a bit and am eager to share my experiences with you. I've worked for print and online magazines, newsletters, and blogs. I've done both editing and copyediting, as well as traditional writing. Click the button below to see my full resume, or scroll down to see some selected works from publications I've written for.

Qosqo Feature for City Savvy Luxembourg

City Savvy Luxembourg is an online magazine geared towards expats living in Luxembourg. It has articles about things to do, upcoming events, and special features. Here's one of those features about Qosqo, a Latin American restaurant located in Luxembourg City.

Ramborn Feature for City Savvy Luxembourg

Ramborn is Luxembourg's first (and currently only) cider mill. I traveled to its off-the-path headquarters to learn about its history and products.

"The Mentor: Christianne Wickler" for LUX WMN

LUX WMNCity Savvy's sister brand, is a print magazine focused on promoting feminism across national boarders. It tackles issues that modern women face and is put together entirely by female creators. I interviewed Christianne Wickler, a Luxembourgish businessowner, as part of the magazine's "mentor" section, which highlights successful women.

"Luxembourg's WMN in Film" for LUX WMN

In addition to copy editing the entire magazine, I edited several of the individual articles, including this one. I focused on keeping the author's original voice and style while improving things like structure and flow, both at the sentence level and throughout the piece as a whole.

The "Leaving Europe" Series for Beyond the Chateau Walls

As a junior editor for the spring 2021 season of MUDEC Méinden, the newsletter for my study abroad program, I was tasked with writing brief articles each week about my experiences abroad. I wrote two articles near the end of my experience: one when my classmates left, and one when I left two months later. These pieces are personal reflections on myself and my experiences.
